二 | 那时，自行车就和现在的私家车一样，几乎成了每个家庭必备的出行工具，尤其是功能型自行车，更是当时人们生活品质的有力代言。 随着2000年新世纪的钟声敲响，自行车已渐渐无法满足人们快节奏的出行需求，汽车逐渐取代自行车，成为市民更便捷快速的出行工具。 步入21世纪，我市的道路交通以及汽车普及程度都取得了迅猛发展，不仅打破了地域限制，还推动了人员和物资的高效流转，促使抚顺与周边城市的贸易往来愈发频繁，让各种机遇与可能在更大的范围内交织碰撞，为全市商业企业的发展提供了重要的基础设施支撑和市场助力，有力地促进了抚顺经济的前行。 今年是实施十四五规划的关键一年，也是辽宁全面振兴新突破三年行动攻坚之年。目前，全市的普通公路总里程已经达到了6700公里，形成了由高速公路和铁路为主骨架，国省干线公路为主通道，农村公路为支线的交通网络体系。其中，辽宁中部环线已经全线贯通，与沈丹、沈大、沈四等7条高速公路实现了无缝衔接。
三 | “四好农村路”更是打造了农村公路+旅游、+体育、+文化的精品示范路线，把工业、农业、旅游等全部串联起来，实现共创共赢，联合发展。正在建设的沈白高铁更是让抚顺的交通格局实现了质的飞跃。通车后，抚顺北站将成为一体化的综合交通枢纽。交通的繁荣，交通工具的更新迭代，为这座城市带来了前所未有的发展机遇。 路通城邑千家市，八方通途万业兴。如今的抚顺，交通便捷，道路纵横交错，城镇居民户均一车已渐成常态，人们的生活半径也已不再局限在小小的一方天地里。
